Why Volunteer?
Every day, medics see the outcomes of violence on their operating tables, in their surgeries and in their clinics. While we do our best to repair the wounds left by violence, it’s not easy: even the best surgeons can't remove all trace of an attack, and scars may run far deeper than what is seen on the surface. We think that a lot of violence could easily be prevented, meaning a lot less victims and a lot less suffering. Our aim is to prevent violence before it happens and you can help.
As well as influencing attitudes towards knife crime and gang membership amongst Scottish youth you will recieve a continuous professional development certificate (CPD) each time you visit a school.
