MAV school visits involve our volunteers delivering an anti-violence message from a medical perspective, looking at the biological, psychological, social and personal consequences of violence. A lesson plan and other resources have been developed in support of these inputs.  

MAV visits complement the personal and social education inputs which form part of the ʻCurriculum for Excellenceʼ and have been reviewed by members of Glasgow City Councilʼs Education Department. The programme can also form a key part of health and social education in more informal group situations, such as youth clubs.
