During the month of February in conjunction with the Medics against Violence Student Society we run a Valentines Day Campaign to highlight the issue of sexual violence among students. 1 in 7 female students are seriously sexually assaulted while at university according to the National Union of Students (NUS) and the perpetrator is generally someone they know. We want to make that 0 in 7 by raising awareness and showing students how being an Upstander, a person who takes action, can keep them and their friends safe.
